So, I dug out the bumbo seat for Brady to try out. It may be a little early for him...



But, guess who loved it....

Happy 2 Years, Jackson!!

Wow- where to even begin. You are now two years old and have been so much fun over the last year. What a great age! Every day seems to bring something new. It has been so much fun watching you learn and discover new things. You are like a sponge. You are talking so much more and you say the funniest things. Just the other day after Brady sneezed in the car you looked over at him and "bless you, Brady". So polite. Or when you are looking for a toy you will say, "[toy], where are you?" You are learning how to get what you want and are getting better at consistently saying "please."

You love to be outside, playing in dirt and water, and watching bugs with such amazement. You continue to love all trucks, but the fire truck and trash truck continue to be your favorites, and anything in a construction zone. Your smile is so wonderful and your laugh is contagious. You love to entertain and will repeat something over and over just to make us laugh!

You continue to be on the move most of the time. But, still enjoy reading books and now like watching movies (even if you only sit still for the first 20 minutes). Your favorites right now are Nemo and Madagascar 2. You continue to be a sweet boy. You hate if others are hurt and always offer hugs to make them feel better. You continue to love your little brother and never go to sleep or leave without hugging and kissing Brady!

We have all enjoyed every minute of this past year. Oh and we shouldn't forget to mention that you are now potty trained---YAY!

Jackson's Birthday Party

We had Jackson's birthday party this morning. We decided to rent a bounce house! Jackson had so much fun. Some of the toddler guests were a little scared...but not Jackson- the kid with zero fear! Overall, I think Jackson had a great birthday!!

Train Table

All the grandparents got Jackson a train table for his birthday. He LOVES his gift! Thank you guys so much. I think this will provide hours and hours of fun!

Brady Relaxing

Happy 2 Months, Brady

Wow- time flies. Brady is two months old today.

Stats:
12 pounds, 10.5 oz. (75%)
22.5 inches (50%)

He got his two month shots and so far has handled them like a champ! He barely even cried!

Brady has been such and enjoyable little baby. This month he has started smiling so much (really started smiling consistently around 7 weeks). It is the sweetest smile. While he still sleeps much of the day, he is starting to like more activities. He loves his bouncy chair, hanging out on the activity mat and sitting on his changing table watching his mobile. He coos and smiles while watching his mobile- it is cute. He also loves the blinds and his fan.

He is also handling his big brother pretty well. Jackson always wants to be in Brady's face. He constantly wakes him up from naps and in the morning by climbing into his crib and yelling "Hi Brady!"

Brady has also started sleeping well at night. He can sleep from 10:00-6:00---which is so nice for mommy! Overall, such a joy. We all love him so much!!

The Chariot

The weather in Denver has been beautiful. So, we decided to take advantage and bust out the chariot to go for a bike ride. You have to get a special contraption ("sling") for infants. As you can tell Brady was a little skeptical. But, once the ride started he settled down and enjoyed himself! This will be fun for the next several months!
