We headed to Texas for a week vacation to see everyone. After landing in Houston on Saturday, we headed to Dallas to visit the Aldridges. The boys were great the whole trip, including the five hour drive after the airplane ride!
Lucky for us, there was one day left of the Texas State Fair, a Texas tradition we wanted to share with the boys, so of course we headed there.
Hello Big Tex:
We tried to get a few family shots:
Me, PaPa and the boys:
Dustin, Grandam, PaPa, Brady & Jackson:
Who needs a double stroller when there is so much brotherly love:
(This is also how we got around the airport at times!)
They had a great area where Jackson and Brady were both "little farmers":
There was an area to feed animals. There were so many animals, including a zebra, giraffe and all the typical petting farm animals:
We also tried to share the wonder of the Fletcher corney dog with the boys, but they preferred hamburgers.
On the way out there was a pond with ducks and fish, so of course we stopped there:
Brady was tuckered out from all the fun:
It was a great day and the boys had a blast. Thanks Grandma and Papa!
