Homemade Water Slide

It has been hot here lately and I thought it would be fun to turn our slide into a water slide. Jackson loved it from the beginning. I had to do a little convincing to get Brady to try it out. But, they both had fun!

A fun and cool afternoon in the backyard!

6 Weeks

Charlotte is six weeks old- the time seems to be flying by. I just wanted to make a record of how she is doing right now.

Weight: 9lb, 5oz.
Size 1 diaper




Charlotte still eats seven times a day. I only have to get up once during the night and the last couple of nights she has slept from her 10:00 dream feed until between 5:00 and 6:00- which is great!

She sleeps really well during the day and night. She naps in every 3 hour cycle.

During her awake time, Charlotte has become much more alert. She is finding her voice and coos, which I love. She also smiles. I am not sure when her first smile was, her Grancy swears she was smiling at 4 weeks! But, now she will purposefully smile.

She enjoyed her bath last night and smiled and cooed at her daddy the whole time.

She also still handles her brothers great and they still adore her- kissing her and loving on her all the time.

Charlotte is such a great baby and we all adore her. I can't wait to see how she continues to grow and show her personality!

One Month Old!

Charlotte is one month old! The time is flying by!

She is doing great with her eating and sleeping. She eats pretty much every three hours until night and then she gives me longer stretches, sometimes 5 hours.

She is growing as well. At her last appointment she weighed 8 lbs., 3oz., so she is gaining weight like a champ!

She still has some belly issues, but nothing too terrible and we have managed to avoid reflux issues...which has been nice (knock on wood!)

Winter Park

While Grancy and Grace were here we thought it would be fun to go to the mountains. So, we headed up to Winter Park. They have tons to do in the summer- an alpine slide, a zip line, miniature golf, bounce houses, etc. Everyone had a great time.

Jackson has no fear, but I was very impressed that Brady did the zip line and he had so much fun! It was a fun day trip for everyone!

Next Up, Grancy

After Poppy and Grandma left, Grancy came to visit. Then, my cousin Grace came as well. I did not get tons of pictures, again due to chaos and exhaustion...but we had fun.

Sleeping Beauty

Charlotte sleeps a lot these days. She is just so peaceful!

"Decorating"

Jackson does not generally nap much anymore, maybe twice a week. But, he still has to go to his room for "quiet time." His favorite activity during quiet time is to "decorate his room," which means taking all his clothes off their hangers and then decorating his room with the hangers.

Today, this is what Dustin and I saw when we went to go check on him:
