Happy 5 Months, Charlotte (No Pictures)

The months are just flying by around here!

You still sleep great and through the night. Daylight Savings time messed with that a little last week and now you get up a bit earlier. Hopefully that will change soon. You still eat 5 times a day and take 3 naps. I think sometime later this month we will try to give you some cereal.

Over the last month, you have had some firsts. You finally rolled over from your tummy to your back. You rolled over at 20 weeks! You are also getting closer to rolling from your back to your tummy. You also started purposefully grabbing at your toys on your playmat. You love to lay on your playmat and grab and swat your toys and "talk" to them.

You are also geting closer to sitting up. You like to be in the sitting position, but only least a couple of second before you topple over.

You are still the smiliest and happiest baby. People comment on your wonderful dispostion all the time. You will smile at anyone who pays attention to you. But, you save the biggest smiles for family - especially mommy and Jackson. You are also doing great in the church nursery, which is nice!

Next week, everyoe is coming in town for your Baby Dedication. It will be a crazy weekend, but great having everyone here.

I can't believe that you have only been a part of our lives for 5 months. I can't imagine our family without you. As Jackson always says: "I love you with all my heart."

We had multiple trick or treating trips, some Halloween parties and Boo at the Zoo...it was a great Halloween season!

Pumpkin Patch

As seems to be tradition now, the whole family went to Anderson Farms for some fall fun and pumpkins. We also met some friends there.

Charlotte slept most of the time we were there. But, she woke up and we got a rare family photo:

It was a long, fun, exhausting morning!

Happy 4 Months, Charlotte!

Happy 4 months, Charlotte...you are getting so big!

This last month you have had some transitions. You are no longer swaddled and you dropped one of your naps. Now, you are only taking 3 naps a day and eating 5 times a day. You still sleep through the night and go to sleep about 7pm and wake up about 7am. There are times when you wake up in the middle of the night and talk or fuss, but you go back to sleep! You dropped your 10pm dream feed at about 14 weeks!



You are starting to get a little personality. You smile ALL.THE.TIME! You also giggle, which is the sweetest sound! You also "talk" and I just love your squeals and coos. I can't wait to really hear your voice.



You always have smiles for Jackson and love when he plays with you. You love Brady as well, but Brady mostly just sits on you or pokes you. He is still figuring out how to be gentle! He did join you for your photoshoot today and y'all were so cute!




You went to the doctor and handled your shots very well. There were some tears, but you recovered very quickly! You still have not rolled over, but Dr. Noah said that was fine. You do reach for objects and are beginning to out toys in your mouth and are right on track with everything else!



You are such a joy and I can't imagine our family without you. We all just adore you, little love.

Soccer Game

This is Jackson's third soccer game and he finally is having a great time. He plays well, has scored some goals and even plays defense! We are just so thrilled he is enjoying the game now.
